Year One Elmers!

Colourful Mugs with Year 2s!

Colour Mixing Cupcakes on the Last Day of School!

So I promised the Year threes that we would have some sweet treats at the end of the term if they finished their Wayne Thiebaud projects on time. Their work turned out fantastic so I made some egg and dairy free cupcakes and icing. I thought I'd sneak in some colour mixing revision by getting them to mix their own orange, purple and green icing. The kids decorated their cupcakes however they wanted and were pretty excited about their last lesson of art with me. I was feeling pretty pleased with myself too UNTIL I am informed by another teacher that this was a 'sugar-free school.' LESSON LEARNT. If any relief teachers are reading this I highly recommend finding out what your school's policy is on sugar before pumping the kids full of sweet poison 😂
