Soft Toys with my 5-8 yo after school class

I'm not gonna lie, I was very apprehensive about teaching these little ones to sew. I made sure I gave the 5 year olds extra help and that I threaded the needles before class to save time. To make the project a bit simpler we decided to glue on the facial features and just sew the main bodies together. I'm so proud of how beautifully they turned out!

CSOCA Exhibition!

I'm so proud of all the kids at Childrens School of Contemporary Art for creating these amazing works! Rose Skinner is the mastermind behind these after school and weekend classes. She helps her teachers write the programs for each term and strives to create a warm and experimental culture at the school.
